So, the kitchen remodel is mostly done and the unpacking has made some serious headway. Yet, you always seem to still get stuck in an area or two right when you think it should all be complete and you are ready to move on. I did, however, promise some pictures this week and, as people have been asking for them, I didn't want to go back on my word. I will just have to post more when it is all really done. So, here are some pictures (ok, perhaps a few too many... I was feeling a bit indecisive)... Hope you like it all so far!
A few things still on our to-do list...
1. Hang our new TV (you can see the tape marks where it will go)...
2. Shelves for either side of the cook-top (the cabinets that used to be there never actually opened all the way, so I am extra excited for the open shelving!)...
*Dishes waiting for shelves...
3. Waiting on the piece I bought for this corner of the kitchen. We needed to put legs on it due to the air return on the ground, so we are just waiting for it to return...
4. Hang pictures and mirror in bathroom...
It is won won wonderful! Can we talk about that lamp? Can we talk about me stealing that awesome lamp from you? I'm still not able to discuss the bathroom. I'm in serious love.
ReplyDeleteOH! MY! WORD! Where to start?? Ok...Love the floors! Both Brick and Wood! ~ Love the bathroom! ~ Drooling over that stove and fridge! ~ Can't wait to see what piece you have for that corner! ~ Love the industrial shelves! ~ Those light fixtures! ~ That island!

ReplyDeleteWOW, This is absolutely gorgeous!!! There is not one thing that I don't love...the serious kind of love. The kitchen is beautiful, love the industrial shelving, the frames on the mantle, brick floors, light fixtures ect, ect. Perfection!

are those cheerleading pictures of bev on the desk?
ReplyDeletei die. i die!! So fab! Yet, attainable! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so beautiful, I could cry! It's exactly my style, I'd love to know your inspiration for these rooms. Perfect is the only word I'm thinking. So French, So Urban, So Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are amazing by the way!
They need new adjectives for this. All the above ones are so ordinary in describing your remodel. Bravo!
Just gorgeous! May I ask about your brick floors? (We are in the middle of a GIANT remodel and are putting in brick floors for Butler's Pantry & Mud Room.) What kind of finish/sealer did you use on them? How do they feel on bare feet? Anything else I should know and consider? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI don't even have words... it's just so amazing...
ReplyDeletelove the turquoise lamp, the bathroom sink, and what color is that on the walls? Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteStunning! Beautiful! Can't decide on the word. I love it. It's perfect and would want the same kitchen in my home. I love the light fixture and was in your store in July and saw it then. Love it. Love it Love it!!! Your home must be different than anything else in AZ.
ReplyDeleteI also love the iron shelving. Do you sell that in your store?
It looks perfect, but I wouldn't have guessed anything less. Now that you are done with your remodel want to come over and redo my kitchen?
ReplyDeleteIt's SO wrong to be SO envious!!!And like the others, I'm at a loss for words. I'm dying. It has to be THE most favorite kitchen/home of mine EVER! Oh, the industrial shelves, brick, your "knick-knacks" - can't wait to see the open shelves. And where the corner piece is going. I need oxygen.
ReplyDeleteHi Bev,
ReplyDeleteWell I LOVE it, I really do. What a mammoth task. The brain cogs are really turning when you are putting a room back together, but so much fun and a real buzz!! I love everything from the black chairs sitting on angles in front of the french doors and with the wine bottle in the holder. I also loved seeing your arched frames on the mantle again, so simple and elegant. Love your couches and your amber bottles on the side table, really beautiful. They must look really gorgeous when the sun hits the glass? And the lamp that is also on the table has amber colouring also and it all goes together so well. The table itself is also a stunning piece. The kitchen looks wonderful and can't wait to see more pictures when you get the new table in. The shelves with your dishes, you won't know yourself...it's just such a huge inconvenience when doors don't open right. We upgraded our old kitchen knobs, knowing we would replace the kitchen one day and the knobs looked good but got to the stage where I would pull a cupboard open and the knob would fall off in my hand...so I know where you are coming from with that. I could go on and on with this room....and before I finished I LOVE the tufted ottoman...LOVE. I haven't even got to the powder room. I really LOVE what you have done there everything from the faucets, sink, counter that the sink sits on and the brick floor. It all looks so lovely Bev, you must be so pleased. Job well done and thanks so much for sharing!
Take care,
Janine

Where did you get the white chair covers that are at the kitchen island?
ReplyDeleteJust stunning! I love that it looks so put together, like a professtional did it, but still looks like real people can live in it. I always see room in magazines and can't imagine how someone can actually live there. But this is perfection! Congratulations on a job well done.
ReplyDeleteLove your kitchen and all the finishing touches. Where did you get the hardware from on Kitchen cabinets?
ReplyDeleteOH my gosh this is one amazing house!! I am drooling all over the screen looking at everything. The brick floors are magnificent. We had brick floors growing up and I loved it. Wow everything is just perfect!

Thank you all so, so, so much for all the wonderful comments! You are all way too sweet! I am putting together all your questions and answers for a post, so be on the lookout for that in the next day or two if you were wondering about something in the kitchen! And again, thanks so much! I absolutely love reading all your comments!
ReplyDeleteBev,
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely beautiful and inspirational. It's an extension of your store, which I love - kind of shows us how we can take items from your store and make them livable.
I love the new kitchen, the brick floors, and the living space that looks so comfy. I could melt into that couch for days!
Thanks for sharing, it's absolutely lovely!
BTW...where are your dishes from? They look similar to some at Anthro...but could you tell me where you got them? Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the beautiful blue lamp? From the other remarks I think they could sell a few more of those!
ReplyDeleteI love your brick floor. And the new shape of your island looks more comfortable. What a beautiful home!
