FEED Bags and Food Drive

Our FEED bags are in! We are so excited to introduce these stylish totes created by Lauren Bush and her team to provide school feedings to children in impoverished parts of the world. By providing meals at school, children are motivated to go to school, which in turn educates and advances them as individuals. "For many children, a school lunch is the only meal they will receive all day". Read more at http://www.feedprojects.org/.

We have a limited number of bags so hurry in! Our feed 1 bags will provide lunches for 1 child for an entire year! Our feed 2 bags will provide lunches for 2 children for a year! These are wonderful bags for everyday, to use instead of plastic or paper at the grocery, or even for friends and family as a gift idea!

We will take special orders if you wish to purchase multiple bags!
Just as importantly, we will be holding a food drive for valley food banks that are in desperate need of more food, especially in this shaky economy. One of these organizations, the Foothills Food Bank, was just quoted as saying they have never had this high of a demand and are seeing families they have never seen before. We will have a large bin labeled FEED right outside the store. Any non-perishables you can bring in would be greatly appreciated! Bring in 10 non-perishable items and get $10 off any one FEED bag! Good at time of purchase only.

Let's work together to stop hunger both locally and worldwide! Please call us if you need any more information!

Queen for a Day!

Little Ruby Grace was absolutely darling at her first birthday this past week! Christine and Ed should be so proud of their little princess! She was quite the star in her sparkling crown with pink fur trim from The Willows!

Supplies are limited so hurry if you want your little one to feel like royalty for a day!

Garden Party/Sale pictures being posted tomorrow - there is so much amazing product that Bev's backyard can barely hold it all - and she has quite a massive backyard!

Here is a little preview:

Curious Things

Curious things have been popping up at the Willows lately. Bev has brought in a whole assortment of unique pieces that will assuredly add a bit of whit and whimsy to your home! The table below is actually two pieces (the top comes off!) for easy travel and storage. It's even great for the fickle-minded home. Add this zinc top to a large island and it becomes a great raised tray for displays and drinks! The table has old wood underneath the zinc - add a different topper to it or leave it disheveled to transform it into something junk-style fabulous! I have a friend who collects old keys. She tells me she does this because she finds a kind of magic in their mystery "not knowing where they fit." I thought of her when this old armoire with the big keyhole door in the front was brought in to The Willows. I wonder what people kept locked up in here. I wonder where the key is today.

I hesitated to post this amazing piece that was brought to us because it has already sold! However, if you would like something similar, come talk to us or call us! This was bought for a wedding, but how beautiful just to grow roses on in a garden? I picture having brunch under this arch with a friend on a cool day like today - how incredible!

On this note, be watching your emails because in a couple of weeks, we will be selling all of the garden furniture that was at Palatte in a huge "Garden Sale" party if you will. We have lots to sell, and we just need to get organized before we begin!

We have many other fun curiosities to unveil soon! Keep checking back!
