This weekend some of the grandkids and I had a lot of fun making our own haunted house. I bought this old doll house at the flea market for $5, then picked up some decorating supplies at Michael's and we went to work. The kids had so much fun and I love the way it turned out. A little spooky, a little kitschy, a little silly... just right. I really loved watching their creativity and how they wanted to decorate it, like the rooms full of spiders. So, what do you think?

You really have a knack of seeing things differently. I would have never even thought of buying an old doll house and doing that! But now, of course I have to be on the look out for one! LOVE it!!
Seriously, a great idea for a beat up old dollhouse that still needs a little love!
