A lovely home office for the creative writer!  

We gathered all of our client's journals into charming little stacks and piles or grouped them into unique containers and made sure they were all easily accessible.  

And a softer, quieter little corner to sit and read or reflect...

This is not your typical home office.

The key to our design approach here was to focus on the mixing and layering of elements.

One example of this is seen in mixing the chairs in the room, one slipcovered highback chair, a settee with arm and leg exposed, mixed with a little iron and wood garden chair.

Did you lose a kid to college and gain a room?

We think you should take that extra bedroom and make it into a room for you.

We did just that for a client and put together this dreamy study.  The focal point of the room is the amazing vintage leather chesterfield sofa, purchased in Paris by our own Susan Rose.  We added some large original photography artwork by Marc Douglas, a stunning coffee table and many other elements to bring it all together.  

But we will just let the pictures speak for themselves...
