Our New Designer!

We are just so excited to introduce to all of you our new designer working with us at The Willows. Meg Forrest-Stamper has been in the design business for over 20 years, and is an absolutely brilliant and magnetic woman who we are just so excited to have on our team. She recently sent out a letter to some of our clients who we knew were in need of design services, but we thought we would post it for all of our friends who might be looking for design help.

The Willows has had some fun with pillows in the past. We've used old seedsacks, burlap and vintage linens done up in french script and even covered in buttons. We are in love with our new number pillows fitted with a grommet in the corner for easy throw-around!

Chandelier Auction!

Well we got off to a late start - but we're still running the auction starting this upcoming week! Here is the information!

The Willows is Auctioning off this GORGEOUS chandelier to help St. Mary's Food Bank!

We wanted to let all our friends know about a great cause we are supporting, and one that needs your help as well! We were recently approached by a friend and representative of a local branch of St. Mary's Food Bank. She informed of us that St. Mary's Food Bank more than ever needs donations to support the growing number of individuals and families in need of assistance.

We just happened to have this amazing 18-light chandelier that has never been hung - and we want to auction it off to all of you - 100% of proceeds going directly to St. Mary's!

This chandelier retails for $2000. We will start our bidding at $500.

Bidding will begin Monday, May 18 and end Saturday at 5:30pm on May 23.

You may call us, email us or stop by the store with your bids. You may also stop by the store to look at the chandelier! The blog will be updated daily with the latest bid high. Bids must go in $25 increments.

The winner will be expected to pay their bid in full within a week of the auction's end. If they do not, the chandelier will go to the next in line. Winner may write a check directly to St. Mary's or to The Willows and drop the check off at The Willows.

Candle Connaisseurs

Being in business for over 11 years now, we consider ourselves to be candle connaisseurs of sorts. We were thrilled when we found how Votivo scents filled a room, we were overjoyed when we found soy-based wonders like our Fresh Linen candles, and we even sprang for the reusable glass-jar candles we found in New York.

However, it is not until now that we have truly, truly fallen in love with a candle.

Introducing our new soy-based hand-poured, small batch triple scented candles (wow, that's a mouth-full!). The candles are even double-wicked for a clean and balanced burn. It's amazing they can pack all that punch into one tiny candle!

A Birthday Party

The Willowettes threw a little surprise for one of our own - the darling Krista who has transformed the store with her touch and creativity since the moment she has arrived. The mood was bright, birthday celebration complete with paper garland flowers, numbered linens and a custom colorful umbrella made by Bev herself!
Afterwards, we wanted to take a little nap on Bev's amazingly lush lounge furniture. We dreamt of chocolate cake and champagne (yes, there were plenty of both), an amazing meal (cooked by Bev herself) and future parties to come!

Love Sundays?

Sundays are so relaxing. I love to wake up late, wash my linens in lavender, and open up all the blinds to let the sunshine in. Sundays are a great day to spend quality time with family and pets, take time to spend outside (even if outside is under a cool cabana by the pool!), and try new recipes for casual Sunday dinners!
