To me, the world seems to light up when it rains. Colors become brighter...more alive. It's like the dust and pollution is washed off and the whole world becomes just a little more beautiful. Rainy days don't keep me inside - they are meant to be enjoyed, touched and remembered.

The Kitchen Remodel - Part One

Here are the before pictures of Bev's kitchen that is getting a complete transformation! The best news is we want you all to be a part of it! We will be periodically asking for your feedback and advice - and prizes will be involved! So make sure you stay tuned!

Here is the list of changes in store for this kitchen:

-white marble countertops

-new white cabinets with more storage including pull-out flour and sugar cabinets and deep drawers for pots and pans

-red brick floors - goodbye travertine!

-new appliances including a new subzero fridge, 2 dishwashers and industrial ice maker

-butlers pantry in the laundry room

-desk in the kitchen

-farm sink

A beautiful thing

They say when one door closes, another one opens in life, you just have to look for it. Well, I'm sorry... I'd be too busy staring at the closed door if they looked like these. These live in Bev's home and could not be more beautifully placed.

It was another fun Flea Market event at The Willows on Friday! We had so many talented local ladies showcasing their work! The parking lot was bustling with artists, friends, kids and dogs - even one dog that had a pink hairdo!

Ruby had fun playing on a flea market find from The Willows - sale toys now 75% off!

Ruby was a lovely model for our new hat and barrette collection from a local artist whose pieces can be seen on the children of celebrities such as Jennifer Garner, Denise Richards and Nicole Richie!

One of our customers brought her new adorable puppy she rescued from the Humane Society!

A big thanks to Tiny Baubles for showing her amazing rings during our Flea Market - they are all available to order now through The Willows. Please stop in to take a look at the different styles!

Melissa from Honeybee sold many of her amazing vintage necklaces made from original British pounds, antique eyeglasses and found keys. These pieces are truly one-of-a-kind wonders!

Linnea's Lights

What a special treat we had at The Willows today! Laura, the creator of Linnea's Lights (pronounced Lin-AY-ah's), stopped in with her husband on their way up to Sedona to do a little shopping at our store! We had the best time listening to her incredible story - read the history of Linnea's Lights here.
